It feels like now is such a time.
So far Waiora Gardens has evolved alongside many joyous and meaningful connections with a multitude of amazing people. Family, extended family, friends and world travellers have passed through this place like a vibrant living river of energy. Every one is and has been a blessing within our unfolding story.
Waiora Gardens was born from a dream, a longing to create a place of beauty, sharing and connecting to ourselves , our Mother Nature and the world in a more conscious loving way.
It has been in existence now for nearly 30 years.
To be able to accommodate guests and Wwoofers, a late dying friend Tom provided $10,000 to buy two additional caravans as he also believed in this project. After his death this money was to be paid back to his brother.
Tom died last year just before I had to go on an urgent mission of helping my daughter in Australia after she had a breakdown. I have now until the end of this year (2015) to endeavour to pay back the first $5,000 of this borrowed money, and then the other $5,000 by the end of 2016. Due to my six months absence I was not able to fix up or save money for the caravans and unfortunately Tom's brother feels no alignment to our cause and is now demanding the money back.
This is a photo of Tom and I just before his journey to Auckland hospice where he died peacefully just a short time later.
If we can raise $5,000 by the end of this year it would be a great relief.......
So I am basically asking for your help. Any financial contribution will be ever so appreciated and can be done via the "Donate Button" to the right top of this page.
An update on this issue will be communicated through our website.
You may be staying in one of these caravans as a treasured guest one day.......
Any surplus money will be used to renovate and beautify them in the most creative way so whoever stays in them will feel safe and loved.
Thank you in advance for caring to read this....... Angela
